On October 26, 2018, Virginia Mary ''Ginny'' Shaheen passed on to be with our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ surrounded by her children at her ranch outside Junction, TX. Ginny was born on December 27, 1927 in Canton, OH to parents of Lebanese descent and was a graduate of Mount Marie Academy. On November 1, 1953 she married the love of her life, Ferris E. ''Tex'' Shaheen, Jr. and together they started a family while living in Golden, CO and Abilene, TX eventually calling Junction their home in 1972.

Ginny was a devout Christian and dedicated her heart and soul to Jesus Christ and HIS Church. While living in Abilene, she was an active member of The Episcopal Church of the Heavenly Rest where she served on various guilds and committees and was also a Sunday School teacher. As a member of Trinity Episcopal Church in Junction for over forty-five years, she served as chair of the Alter, Women's and Vestry Guild's. Ginny and her late husband Tex were active members of Cursillo, devoting time to many teams along with participating in the Kairos Prison Ministry. She also served as a volunteer delivering meals for the Kimble County Meals on Wheels program.

Ginny was preceded in death by her father and mother, Frank and Minnie Farah as well as her loving husband Tex Shaheen and son Ferris E. ''FE'' Shaheen, III. She is survived by her children, Dana Thompson of London, TX; Mary Adams and husband Elba of Junction, TX; Deborah Markee and husband Matt of Keizer, OR; Victoria Shaheen of San Antonio, TX and Greg Shaheen of Abilene, TX. As well as being a loving and nurturing mother, she was blessed with ten grandchildren as well as ten great-grandchildren.

Services celebrating Ginny's life will be held 10:00 AM Tuesday October 30th at Trinity Episcopal Church in Junction with Interment to follow at 3:00 PM at the Garden of Good Shepherd in Elmwood Memorial Park in Abilene.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorials be made to Trinity Episcopal Church in Junction, Kimble County Meals on Wheels or Hill Country Memorial Hospice in Fredericksburg, TX.
