Theodore Roy “Ted” Coker, IV, 65, of Kimble County, passed from this life on April 20, 2021 at a hospital in San Angelo.
Ted was born August 10, 1955 to Theodore Roy, III and Doris Lee (Gibson) Coker in San Antonio. Ted spent most of his career as a construction superintendent building large commercial buildings; his latest project being the hospital in Eden. Ted loved his family ranch near Junction which was built by his parents. He enjoyed hosting family and friends at the ranch and taking them on hunting trips during their visits. Ted was a talented musician who played the fiddle, piano, and guitar and shared his talent with those closest to him. He was also a cowboy who was a fan of watching westerns. Ted loved his family, and his son was his top priority.
Ted is preceded in death by his parents.
Those left to honor his memory include his son, Michael Coker of Austin; sister, Elane Slone of Comanche; nieces, nephews, cousins; and best friend, Craig Copeland.
Graveside services will be held 11:00 AM, Saturday, April 24, 2021 at Bear Creek Cemetery with Rev. Jim and Rev. Laurie Barker officiating.
Visitation will be held 6-8:00 PM, Friday at Kimble Funeral Home.
