Sharlene Casper, 58, of Junction, passed away unexpectedly on December 11, 2014.
Born January 4, 1956 to Sam and Virginia Casper in Oberlin, Kansas, she grew up in El Paso, Texas and graduated from Eastwood High School. Shortly after graduation, Sharlene found her lifetime calling in her love for the hospital laboratory. Her career began in El Paso as a phlebotomist and from there to Ozona and Stamford as a Laboratory Technician and finally in her home as Laboratory Director at Kimble Hospital in Junction, TX. Sharlene took the most joy in doing for others, either in sewing, cooking and spoiling her nieces and nephews.
Sharlene is preceded in death by her father, Samuel Casper and brother, Gary Wayne Casper.
Those left to honor and cherish her memory include her mother, Virginia Casper sisters, Lynne David Bagby and Karen Stan Parnell brothers, Sam Casper and Richard Casper and her cats, which she considered her children, Gracie and Spencer.
A memorial service will be held for Sharlene, in conjunction with her father, Sam Casper, Sunday, December 21, 2014 at 2:00 PM at Trinity Episcopal Church in Junction, TX with Rev. Dr. Katherine M. Lehman officiating.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Trinity Episcopal Church or to the charity of your choice.
