Severiano Anguiano, 90, of Junction, passed from this life on May 16, 2018 in Fort Stockton.

Severiano was born August 22, 1927 to Juan, Sr. and Adelaida (Murillo) Anguiano in Junction, Texas. He spent the majority of his life living in Junction. He married Martha Balderas on December 28, 1979. Severiano was hard working and was knowledgeable in many different trades; some of which included sheep shearing, construction, cotton farming, heavy equipment operator, welding, and owner of a Fina gas station. He was proud of the fact that he helped with the construction of I-10 that stretched from Junction to Cherokee. Severiano was a football fan and especially loved the Dallas Cowboys and his hometown Junction Eagles. He always supported his kids in athletics. In his later years he could often be found watching westerns on TV. Severiano was a loving father, kindhearted to all, and the salt of the earth. He will be missed by all who knew and loved him.
Severiano is preceded in death by his daughter, Gracie Anguiano; brothers, Juan Anguiano, Jr. and Mario Anguiano.

Those left to honor his memory include his wife, Martha Balderas of Fort Stockton; children, Mario Anguiano of Junction, Jerry Anguiano of Port Smith, NH; Leroy Anguiano of Junction, Adrian Anguiano of San Antonio, Edward Anguiano of Junction, Maribel Anguiano of Junction; step-children, Helen Villescas, Alfred Martinez and wife Mary, Santos Martinez and wife Josie, Carmelita Ramirez and husband Tony, and Richard Martine and wife Patricia; sister, Velma Sanchez; 23 grandchildren; and 8 great-grandchildren.

Mass of Christian Burial will be held 10:00 AM Monday, May 21, 2018, at St. Theresa's Catholic Church with Father Michael Rodriguez as celebrant. Interment will follow in the NE Junction Cemetery.

Visitation will be held 6:00 PM, Sunday at Kimble Funeral Home with recitation of the Holy Rosary at 7:00 PM.

Pallbearers will be Jacob Sanchez, Manuel Sanchez, Eric Salinas, John Paul Anguiano, Matthew Anguiano, Francisco Villeda, Abram Anguiano, and Ethan Sanchez.
