Rosbel Benavides

Rosbel G. Benavides, 78, of Junction, Texas passed from this life on December 17, 2018 at a local hospital.

Rosbel was born May 14, 1940 to Victoriano Benavides and Lilia Gonzalez in San Vicento, Nuevo Leon, Mexico and grew up there. On February 2, 1964 he married Rosa Benavides in San Vicente. He worked most of his life as a farm worker in California and Arizona then worked thirty years at Plastic Pack in Highlands, Texas, until retirement four years ago. He then moved to Junction where he helped his son run Tia Nena's Family Restaurant. He loved to greet all customers with a smile and conversation. He will be greatly missed by those who knew and loved him.
Rosbel is preceded in death by his parents, and brother, Gregorio Benavides.

Those left to honor his memory include his wife Rosa Benavides; sons, Rosbel Benavides, Jr. and wife Rosie; Rafael Benavides and wife Mari; daughter, Rosa Aceuedo and husband Reynaldo; grandsons, Rafael Benavides, Jr. and Romel Benavides; and granddaughter, Rosanna Benavides.

Visitation will be held 5-7:00 PM, Wednesday, December 19, 2018 at Kimble Funeral Home.

Funeral Mass and interment will be held Friday in San Vicente, Nuevo Leon, Mexico.
