Peggy Diane Ragsdale

Peggy Diane Ragsdale, 71, of Mason passed from this life on September 3, 2023 at a hospital in Fredericksburg, Texas.

Peggy was born October 22, 1951 in Mason to Bill Ira and Sara Lee (Brown) Smith; and also grew up in Mason.  She married Billy Lee “Dooker” Ragsdale on January 9, 1981 in Junction.  Peggy was the Kimble County Justice of the Peace; retiring after many years of service.

Peggy is preceded in death by her parents, Bill Smith and Frank and Sara Gressly; brothers, Terry Smith and Ronnie Smith; her husband, Dooker; and granddaughter, Sarah Darnell.

Those left to honor her memory include her sons, Michael and Robert Darnell; brother, Rick Smith and wife Debra; eight grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.

Memorial services will be held 1:00 PM, Saturday, September 23, 2023 at the Kimble Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Jim and Rev. Laurie Barker and Judge Josh Cantrell officiating.
