Funeral Services for Nora Rudene Van Brunt, 83, of Noble, Oklahoma who passed from this life on June 4, 2019 will be held at 2 PM on Saturday June 8,2019 at Kimble Funeral Home with interment to follow at Junction City Cemetery.

Nora Rudene Hickey Van Brunt, 83, of Noble, Oklahoma went to be with the Lord on June 4, 2019.

Rudene was born October 8, 1935 in Bokchito, Oklahoma and for several years worked for the State of Oklahoma in youth correction work. She moved to Bakersfield in 1949 and married Brice Cleo "Van" VanBrunt. Van preceded her in death in 2012. Rudene loved gospel music and shared her talents with many through song; both playing the piano and singing. The Van Brunt family travelled across the country in a large diesel powered bus and visited churches where they would minister. The Van Brunt family motto was: "God is Love - God Loves You and So Do We"
