Nancy Smart

Nancy Ruth Smart passed away on December 23rd, 2016 at 12:30am. She was laid to rest on December 26th 2016 at Junction City Cemetery. She was born On March 4th, 1953 to Stanley and Hilda Pridgen. She is preceded in death by Father, Stanley Pridgen, brother Stanley Pridgen JR., son Brian James, son Michael James and grandson Benjamin Brian Rendon. She is survived by her husband, Kenny Smart of 39 years, Daughter Valerie Rendon, grandchildren Jamie Rendon, his wife Blaze and their daughter Adrielle Rendon, Jessica Rendon and her daughter Jazlyn Rendon.

Born in 1953 in San Antonio Texas, Nancy Ruth Pridgen was raised in a strict German household by her grandmother. She had three children Michael James, Brian James and Valerie James. In 1977, she married her husband Kenny Smart, and together they raised daughter Valerie James and son Michael James. Later on they together raised Jamie and Jessica Rendon. Those who knew Nancy knew she loved her family more than anything. In 2015 she was blessed to have her first great granddaughter Jazlyn Rae Rendon. And In May of 2016 she had her second great granddaughter Adrielle Elizabeth Rendon. She was known for he prankster ways and good laughs. Nancy will be loved and missed by all her family and friends.
