Mildred Cardwell

Millie Cardwell, surrounded by her devoted family, left this life to be with her Heavenly Father on Friday, January 19, 2018.

She was born in McKinney, TX on August 15, 1922. Millie was a devout Christian, who lived her faith to the fullest. She was a lifelong member of the First United Methodist Church in Junction, TX.
Most of her life was lived as a Kimble County resident, where she loved her ranch life. She enjoyed sewing, gardening, and cooking and shared her talents with everyone. She had a very caring and giving spirit.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Cody Cardwell; her parents, Emmett and Alta Howard, brother, Milton "Bob" Howard and sister Jerry Howard.

Those she leaves behind with loving memories are her son, Dudley Cardwell and wife Alice; three grandchildren, Jayme Cardwell and wife Suzanne, Denise Krieger and husband Paul and Janet Cardwell Davis; seven great-grandchildren and six great-great-grandchildren.

Millie was a loving wife, mother and grandmother. Her life was a blessing, her memory is our treasure, she will be missed beyond measure.

Funeral services will be held 10:00 AM Tuesday, January 23, 2018 at the First United Methodist Church in Junction, Texas. Interment will follow in the Copperas Cemetery.

Visitation will be held 4-6:00PM, Monday at Kimble Funeral Home.
