Margaret Elizabeth "Beth" Smith

Margaret Elizabeth (Beth) Smith, 81, of Junction passed away on Sunday, December 22, 2024, at Menard Manor.   

Beth was born on February 18, 1943, in Sonora, Texas, to Johnnie Andrews and Alma Louise Glasscock Ward. A lifetime resident of Junction, she attended Junction schools. She worked as a nurse’s aide and clerk. She enjoyed working in her yard and loved feeding deer and her beloved cats.

Survivors include daughters, Carol (Dale) Herring of Santa Anna and Tammy Cook of Hondo; grandchildren, Derek Little of Brownwood, Casey Herring of Trickham, Jacob Cook of Fredericksburg, and Logan Cook of Hondo; great-grandchildren, David Little of Brownwood, Eli Herring of Junction, Paisley Cook of Hondo, Payton M. James of Hondo and Payton G. Cook of Fredericksburg, great-great-grandson, Dawson Little of Brownwood; a sister Janet (Johnny) Cooper of Clarendon and a brother Stacy Ward of Amarillo. 

Memorial services will be held 10:30 AM, Saturday, January 4, 2025 at the Kimble Funeral Home Chapel. A private family burial will be held at a later date.
