Lynn Meckley

Lynn Ann Meckley, 52, of Junction, Texas passed away on January 7, 2018 surrounded by her family at Hill Country Memorial Hospital in Fredericksburg.

Lynn was born April 9, 1965 in Midland, Texas to Arnold and Billie (Fisher) Meckley. She grew up and attended schools in Midland; graduating from Midland High School - class of 1983. She earned her B.A. in Studio Art from Schreiner University in Kerrville. She worked several years in art galleries in San Antonio and Austin and spent one summer studying museum art in Rome, Italy. She received her LVN from Schreiner University in 1999. She was employed by the Hill Country Youth Ranch for 13 years as a counselor. Her memory will be cherished by all who knew and loved her.

Lynn is preceded in death by her father, Arnold Meckley.

Those left to honor her memory include her mother, Billie Meckley of Junction; brother, Lee Meckley and wife Marisol of Austin, Texas.

Funeral services will be held 2:00 PM Thursday, January 11, 2018 at the Kimble Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. John Curry officiating. Interment will follow in the Junction City Cemetery.

Visitation will be held 5-7:00 PM, Wednesday at Kimble Funeral Home.

Pallbearers will be Jay Carpenter, Ronny Carpenter, Bobby Carpenter, Buz Hull, Gary Priour and Ron Hardaway.
