Julia Robles

Julia G. Robles, 79, of Junction, TX passed from this life on March 11, 2020 at her residence.

Julia was born January 7, 1941 in Rocksprings, Texas to Alejandro and Julia (Benavides) Gonzales.  She grew up in Junction with her three brothers and two sisters.  She married Tony Robles and they had four children.  She worked at JISD for 37 years as a Teacher's Aide; retiring in 2017.  Her hobbies included watching her grandchildren play sports; she loved playing slots, and was a whiz at game shows.  Julia was a member of St. Theresa's Catholic Church in Junction.

Julia is preceded in death by her parents; and brother, Ernesto Gonzales.

Those left to honor her memory include her children, Kathleen Vivian Saiz and husband Sam; Adrian Anthony Robles and wife Terri; Doreen Martinez and husband Noe; Corinne Meadows and husband Ross; six grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; brothers, Humberto Gonzales and wife Rosalinda, Alejandro Gonzales, Jr. and wife Jean; sisters, Reyes Menchaca and Francisca Gonzales; several nieces and nephews; and a host of friends.

She will be greatly missed by those who knew and loved her.

Mass of Christian Burial will be held 1:00 PM, Friday, March 13, 2020 at St. Theresa's Catholic Church with Father Innocent Eziefule as Celebrant.  Interment will follow at Northeast Junction Cemetery.

Visitation will be held 5-7:00 PM, Thursday, March 12, 2020 at Kimble Funeral Home with recitation of the Holy Rosary beginning at 6:00 PM.

Pallbearers will be Alex Berg, Michel Robles, Austin Robles, Brent Abilez, Grant Meadows, Alex Gonzales III, and Gilbert Gonzales.  Honorary pallbearers will be Noe Martinez, Sam Saiz, Ross Meadows, Beto Gonzales, and Alex Gonzales.
