Juan A. Garcia-Arias

Juan Alexander “Alex” Garcia-Arias, 42, of Junction, Texas passed from this life on December 27, 2023 in Junction.

Alex was born June 3, 1981 in Mexico to Francisco Garcia Garza and Mayela Arias.  He spent the first 8 years of his life in Mexico, and at the age of 9 his mother brought him to Kirby, TX.  He went to school there, earned his GED and later a CDL license. He was a very talented person, played soccer, won championships, and was an avid Dallas Cowboys fan. In 2016, he met his future wife Lucia Lydia Uribe, and they were married on December 9, 2016.  He started working at PAX Essentials and worked there until his death. He knew the entire plant, had an excellent work ethic, and could do any job set forth before him.  Most of all, he loved his family; his wife, children, and grandchildren were his pride and joy. He will be missed dearly.

Alex is preceded in death by his grandma, Maria del Rosario Gonzalez and nephew, Romeo Garcia.

Those left to cherish his memory include his wife, Lucia Garcia; sons, Ignacio De La Torre, Jose Salinas, Lorena Feliz Salinas; grandson, Daniel Lee De La Torre; daughters, Violet Garcia, Ivory Garcia; mother and step-father, Mayela and Ray McKinney; brothers, Ramonde Herrera, Christo Manuel Herrera; sister, Maria Herrera; grandsons, Arlo and Amiro; step-son, Alijah Garcia; and a host of other relatives and friends.

Funeral services will be held 11:00 AM, Thursday, January 4, 2024 at the Kimble Funeral Home Chapel; interment will follow at N.E. Junction Cemetery.

Recitation of the Holy Rosary will be held 6:00 PM, Wednesday, January 3, 2024 at Kimble Funeral Home.
