Jimmy Ybarra Perez, 65, of Junction, Texas passed from this life after a lengthy illness, on Saturday, September 26, 2015, at Peterson Regional Medical Center in Kerrville.
Jimmy Ybarra Perez was born March 7, 1950, in Rock Springs, Texas, the son of Pascual and Juanita (Ybarra) Perez.
Jimmy is preceded in death by his parents; and three brothers; Julio, Fernando and Jimmy Perez, I.
Those left to honor and cherish his memory are his daughters; Tammy Chavez, Melissa Guevara, April Ibarra, and Bobbie DeLeon, son; Jimmy Perez; 13 grandchildren; 6 great-grandchildren, brother; George Perez; sisters, Blanca Perez, Beronica Corona and Melba Silva; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Jimmy graduated from Junction High School, where he excelled in track competing on the state level. He enlisted in the United States Navy, serving as a Navy Seal during the Vietnam War. After his discharge from the military, he made his home in San Angelo before returning to Junction.
Recitation of the Holy Rosary will be 7:00 PM, Monday September 28, 2015 at Kimble Funeral Home with visitation to follow.
Mass of Christian Burial will be held 10:00 AM, Tuesday, September 29, 2015 at St. Theresas Catholic Church in Junction. Interment will follow at Junction City Cemetery.
