Jatisa Norton

Jatisa Blanche Norton was born to parents Joe Jr. and Patty Eckert on May 8, 1985 in Brady, Texas. She left this life to be with her Lord on November 26, 2017.

Jatisa graduated from Junction High School in May 2003. She married Clifford Norton Jr. in Junction, Texas on April 27, 2004. She was employed at Hill Country Care Center in Junction as a CNA. She lacked three weeks completing her degree in Criminal Justice, being an honor student with a 94 average. She was a member of the First Baptist Church of London.

Jatisa was a devoted mother. Her children meant the world to her. She has a special place in the hearts of all her nieces and nephews, but to nephews, Justin and Chase their Aunt Tisa was very, very, special.
She was an artist and a seamstress but will probably be remembered most in her role as helper and caregiver. She will be missed by all who knew her.

She is preceded in death by her daughter, JayCie Norton, father, Joe Eckert Jr.; grandparents, Wesley and Blanche Pearl, and grandfather, Joe Eckert.

Those left to honor her memory include her daughter, Joely Norton; husband, Clifford Norton, Jr.; mother, Patty Eckert; sister, Jamie Eckert, brother and sister-in-law, J.W. (Joe) and Stephanie Pearl; grandmother, Peggy Eckert; nieces, Jayme Leigh, Keana, Khloe and Michelle; nephews, Shaden, Justin, Chase, and Chris. Also surviving are aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends.

Services will be held on December 9, 2017 at 11:00 AM at the First Baptist Church in Junction with Brother Thomas Jeffers officiating. Interment will be at London Cemetery.

Visitation will be held 4-7:00 PM, Friday December 8, 2017 at Kimble Funeral Home.

Pallbearers will be Ken Burkett, D.J. Harper, Jr., Jason Smarr, Jeremy Smarr, John Yglesias, and Wesley Yglesias.
