Iva Nell McNeill

Iva “Nell” McNeill, 85 was born on June 3, 1938, in Fredonia, Texas, and died on May 26, 2024, in Junction, Texas.

Nell worked for many years at Kimble Hospital as a Dietary Manager. She enjoyed reading and gardening. She loved the dictionary: Spanish and English. She made little notes in the margins. She was an avid cook and baker. 

Nell is survived by her loving daughter, Donna Raye Stroud of London, Texas; and many nieces and nephews.

Nell was preceded in death by her parents, Coy Neal Joiner of and Velma Katheran Joiner of London, Texas; husband, Harvel (Wes)Wesley McNeill of London, Texas; and 3 sons, Benjamin Franklin Bloodworth III of Wilcox, Arizona, Robert Allen Stroud of Montgomery, Texas, and Stephen Joel Stroud of Crosby, Texas; 3 brothers, Billie Neal Joiner of London, Texas, Robert Joe Joiner of Tucson, Arizona, and Don Linn Joiner of London, Texas; and 1 sister, Carol Ann Hickenbottom of London, Texas.

Graveside services will be held at 11:00 AM, Friday, May 31, 2024, at Red Creek Cemetery in London with Rev. Stephen Curry officiating.  A full lunch reception will be served at London Grocery and Grill in London after services.
