Gregorio Villanueva

On Monday December 6, 2021, Gregorio Jose “Grego” Villanueva, beloved son, brother, and friend to many left this Earth one day shy of his 33rd birthday.

Greg was born to Juan “Francisco” F Villanueva & Genoveva “Eva” Villanueva on December 7, 1988. He was the youngest of their 4 children.

Greg attended grades K-12 in Junction graduating in 2007. Greg was an active member of the Junction FFA during high school. After graduating high school, Greg attended Sul Ross University for a short time, where he acquired knowledge, a love for rugby, and A LOT of friends! Greg made friends wherever he went and worked, some of his occupations included ranching, contract welder, heavy equipment operator. For the last 5 years Greg was living and working in Midland, Tx. In 2016 his oldest brother started up his own service business in the Natural Gas Industry, and six months later Greg joined him, where he learned the trade and excelled at gas compressor repairs, service, and customer relations.

Greg was a free spirit with a great sense of humor, a loving heart, and an admirable love and loyalty to his friends and family, he had a love of the outdoors, Texas, and a deep respect for our nation’s military and veterans. Among Greg’s hobbies were being on the open road, cooking, hunting, and catching up with friends and family. We are willing to bet Greg’s friends make up half of this great state!
