Gloria Gonzales

Gloria Gonzales, 74, wife, mother, sister, grandmother, and friend, passed away suddenly on September 15, 2018.

Gloria was born June 11, 1944 to Salvador and Maria Santos Castillo in Kerrville. She grew up and attended school in Junction. She married Richardo Garza Gonzales on December 13, 1963 in Fredericksburg. She was a housewife and mother. She worked as a nurse's aide at Park Place Hospital for 14 years. She was also a custodian at Port Neches Groves High School for 8 years before retiring.

Gloria will be remembered for the kindness and lovingness she gave to all who entered her life, and for her strength through life's good moments and especially the tough moments. She was a wonderful blessing to her family and friends, she will be missed.
She is preceded in death by her parents; brothers, Johnny Castillo, Augustine "Leo" Castillo, Simon Castillo, and Daniel Castillo.

Gloria will be forever remembered by her husband and best friend, Richardo Gonzales; children, Demetrio Gonzales, Josephine Gonzales, Rachel Gonzales; granddaughters, Alexis Arti, April Thibeaux; sisters, Margarita Morales, Angelita Bermea; brother, Salvador Castillo, Jr.; and numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

Funeral Services will be held 4:00 PM, Friday, September 21, 2018 at Kimble Funeral Home, 1010 College Street, Junction, Texas 76849.

Visitation will be held 1-4:00 PM, Friday, at Kimble Funeral Home prior to services.
