Geraldine (Jeri) Blaylock
Jeri left this earth on October 21, 2024, at the age of 66.
She was born on August 19th, 1958, to Jearl D. and Pearl Watkins in Tucumcari, NM. Jeri met and fell in love with Raymond D. Blaylock, and they were wed in Holy matrimony on December 9th, 1972. She worked different jobs throughout her life from M&N, working at Milky Way for De Moss’s, Freight with Tex-Pac with her mother-in-law and father-in-law, Raymond and Faye. She then was a housewife taking care of their 3 kids while Raymond worked the oil field. Later she worked at JISD in the cafeteria and at the Texas Tech center of Junction, TX. Where those lunch ladies were a powerhouse team! She was a deli manager at Town and County in Sanderson, TX and drove a T-Rex dump truck hauling material for subdivisions around Austin. She loved to cook and making bread. She will be forever known for her fried chicken, Navajo tacos, stuffed dumplings, potato salad, tartar sauce and strawberry and banana desserts that would give you a sugar shock. She was a hard worker. She was tuff and always had that attitude. Throughout the years, she loved to live life to the fullest from traveling to visit grandkids which loved her very much. She was the biggest kid of them all. She loved taking cruises, rather it be on a Carnival cruise or just around Sanderson with the family.
