Felipe Gonzalez

Felipe Ortega Gonzalez, 67, of Junction, passed from this life on September 20, 2020 at a hospital in San Antonio.

Felipe was born August 23, 1953 to Rosalio Ortega and Pilar Gonzalez in San Felipe, Guanajuato, Mexico.  He worked at the meat processing plant in Junction, Isaaks restaurant, and with lawn care and gardening.  He spent the last 29 years of his life with his love, Cecilia Flores.

Felipe is preceded in death by his parents, and a brother, Alfredo Ortega.

Those left to honor his memory include his sons, Martin Ortega, Francisco Ortega, Melesio Ortega, Pedro Ortega, Felipe Ortega, Jr., and Jose Trinidad Ortega; daughters, Clemencia Ortega and Nicolasa Ortega; and numerous other family members who will miss him dearly.

Funeral Mass will be held 10:00 AM, Thursday, September 24, 2020 at St. Theresas Catholic Church in Junction.  Interment will be held in Mexico.

Recitation of the Holy Rosary will be 6:30PM, Wednesday at Kimble Funeral Home with visitation beginning at 5:00 PM.
