Eula Murr

Eula Marguerite Murr, 92, of Junction, Texas passed peacefully from this life on February 28, 2019 at her residence.

Eula was born July 21, 1926 in Turkey, Texas to Joseph St. Clair and Eula Pearl Pinkerton. She grew up during The Great Depression, lived in the plains during the dust bowl, and had many memories from that time of her life. She married Edwin Davis Murr on September 14, 1952 at the Murr Church of Christ in Fort McKavett. Eula was very family oriented and especially loved precious young children. She was very supportive of her family and loved them each as unique individuals. Eula grew up as a Christian and attended church as long as she was able. She was a student of the Bible; always striving to learn more. Eula had many talents including, crocheting, sewing, quilting, oil painting, pastels and cooking. She was an avid reader and kept her mind alert by working crosswords, and playing bridge and dominoes. Eula was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, and friend, who will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved her.

Eula is preceded in death by her parents; husband, Davis; brother, Elmer; and her loving brother, Jesse (Jakie).

Those left to honor her memory include children, Caren Mackie of Junction, Janet Bermes and husband George of Junction, Marcus Murr and wife Melissa of Sonora; grandchildren, Beau Mackie and wife Roxanne, Trent Mackie; Winston Mackie; Josh Bermes and wife Melissa, Justin Bermes and wife Jessica, Geni Russell and husband Justin, Layna Martinez and husband David, Ashton Murr, and Kaleb Murr and wife Krista; thirteen great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, and other relatives.
Funeral services will be held 11:00 AM, Monday, March 4, 2019 at the College Street Church of Christ with Clyde Dukes and Bryce Stewart officiating. Interment will follow at 3:00 PM, at the Fort McKavett Cemetery.
Visitation will be held 5-7:00 PM, Sunday at Kimble Funeral Home.

Memorials may be made to the Medina Children's Home or Church of Christ India.
