Effie Grant

Kerrville Effie C. Cantrell Grant, 74, of Utopia, TX, was born November 5, 1936 and went to be with the Lord on January 19, 2011. Cancer took her earthly body, but she is now without a doubt in her heavenly body

Effie was a wonderful daughter, mother, sister, granny, nanny and friend

She is predeceased by her father, Jack Cantrell, her brothers, Harvey and Elvin Cantrell, and her husbands, Willie Hal Leistikow and Wayne Grant.

Those left to honor and cherish her memory are her mother, Rosie Simons Cantrell of Utopia her sons, Arthur Leistikow and his wife, Twila, of Junction and Alan quotBubbyquot Leistikow and his wife, Kim, of Utopia her honorary children, Chris and Judy Ramsey of Utopia her brothers, Monroe Cantrell and his wife, Sherry, of Sabinal, her sister, Elvie Duke and her husband, Rip, of Utopia, her sister Joyce Rainey of Austin, her brother, Josh Cantrell and his wife, Leslie, of Junction and a sisterinlaw, Mary Cantrell of Utopia and she was blessed with several grandchildren and great grandchildren, Shannon, Misty, Emma, Seth, Tiffany, Megan, Josh and Kyla her honorary grandchildren, Josh, Emily, Julie and Kevin. She was loved by numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and friends

Honorary pallbearers will be Jim Cantrell, Jake Cantrell, Seth Barclay, Tommy Moore, Sid Bort and Josh Ramsey.

There will be no visitation.

A celebration of her life was held at the Utopia Baptist Church on January 21, 2011 at 10:30 AM.
