Dorothy Swindle

Our precious mother Dorothy Swindle, 80, of Junction, Texas, went home to be with the Lord on April 10, 2018 at the Hill Country Care Center.

Dorothy was born June 17, 1937 to Milam O'Neal Talk and Lillie Wallace Talk.
She married BJ "Bob" Wallace on October 29, 1955. She was a housewife and mother of 16 children. Dorothy loved sewing, cross stitching, tending to her plants, camping and fishing with her children and grandchildren.

She is preceded in death by her loving parents; her late husbands, HA "Hoot" Swindle, Rodney Johnson, and Bob "BJ" Wallace; daughters, Lillie Fisher and Shirley Phillips; siblings, Shirley Partain, Katy Forbes, Patsy Talk, MaryAnn Yglesias, Cora Mae McCullough, Johnny Talk, Tommy Talk and Douglas Talk.

She is survived by her children and spouses, Dorothy Hiebert, Bobby Wallace, Becky Kierum, Nellie Wallace, Donna Smith, Janie Boren, Marilyn Marquette, Sylvia Wallace, Michael Wallace, Kaye Ferry, Thomas Wallace, Regina Johnson, Renee Johnson and her beloved dog Little Bit; along with numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews, and a host of friends whom she loved dearly.

Viewing will be 5-7:00 PM, Friday April 13, 2018 at the Kimble Funeral Home.

Funeral Services will be 3:00 PM, Saturday April 14, 2018 First Baptist Church with Pastor John Curry officiating. Interment will follow at the Junction City Cemetery.

Memorials may be made to the Hill Country Care Center, or Junction Meals on Wheels.
