Danny Timms

Danny Astel Timms, 65, of Junction, Texas passed from this life on August 27, 2016 at his residence. He was born on May 11, 1951 to Edgar Lee Timms and Francis Welton Miller in Seminole, Texas.

Danny was a member of the U.S. Navy from 1971 to 1975. Upon honorable discharge, he became a jack of all trades until his retirement. In 1981, he met the love of his life, Patsy Dee Spurgin, and they were married November 8, 1981 in Junction. She was his beautiful butterfly and together they enjoyed spending time with family, fishing, playing pool, and enjoying their lives to the fullest.

Danny is preceded in death by his parents; brothers, Ben, Sherman, and Bert; sisters, Doris, Alice, and Wilma; and his beloved wife, Patsy Timms.

Those left to honor his memory include his brother, Nick Timms; sisters, Nina Gentry and Alma Young; children, Tashua Plair, Dan Timms, Tressa McKee, Shane Timms and Scott Timms; and numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held 1:00 PM, Saturday, September 3, 2016 at the Full Gospel Church, 210 N. 15th St., Junction, with Vivian Sumrow and Jesse Sellers officiating. Interment will follow at the Junction City Cemetery. Visitation will be held 7-9:00 PM, Friday at Kimble Funeral Home.

Pallbearers will be Cody Timms, Levi Timms, Jeffrey Timms, Rodney Worth, Roy Timms, and Kevin Timms.

In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorial donations be made to Kimble Funeral Home to help with final expenses.
