Curtis Smith

Curtis "C-Dawg" Smith, 59, of Junction, Texas entered into rest on May 30, 2019 at his residence.

Curtis was born January 16, 1960 in Big Spring. He was raised by his parents, Carlos F. and Beulah Halliburton Smith in Llano. He worked oil fields in West Texas and off shore. He always had a story to tell, and loved his chocolate milk. He would give the shirt off his back to help someone in need. He was full of love, and called his family and friends a "bundle of love".

Curtis is preceded in death by his mother, Billie Jean Johnson; step-father, Papa Ray Johnson; step-mother, Beulah; son, Charles Martin; daughter, Melanie Dunn; and brother, Tony Calhoun.

Those left to honor his memory include his wife, Donna Smith; children, Jordin, Jayden, Andrew, Laurie, Tina, Jessica, Wade, Christy, JoJo, Raymond, Timmy, Amanda; special guardian angel, Martha Gonzales; numerous nieces, nephews, and grandchildren; sisters, Debbie Holtman of Cresson, Wanda Patton of Junction, Laura Sobley of Llano; brother, Carlos Smith, Jr. of Junction and step-brother, Billy Ray Johnson.

Curtis was well known as pepaw and papa by many grandchildren and great-grandchildren; was very well loved; and will never be forgotten.

Memorial services will be held 10:00 AM, Wednesday, June 5, 2019 at the Junction Full Gospel Church.
