Christopher Ryan Gates

Christopher Ryan Gates, 32, of Junction, Texas passed from this life on July 25, 2023. 

Chris was born February 26, 1991 in Zephyrhills, Florida to Ladonna Ann Shipley and Kenneth Wright.  He grew up in Tempe, Arizona, but eventually made his home in Junction.  Chris was a jack of all trades, (master of none) who worked at a variety of jobs including housekeeping, shearing sheep, and lawn care.  Chris was kind and liked to care for those in need of help.  He had a heart for animals, especially cats.  Chris loved life, and loved his best friend: his mom.  Chris will be greatly missed here as he is watching down from above. 

Chris is preceded in death by his brother, Matthew Andrews.

Those left to cherish his memory include his mother, Donna Wright and step-father, Kenneth; brother, Jason Andrews; sister, Samantha Frost; numerous nieces and nephews; aunts, Angela and Cindy; uncles, Bobby and Steve; and grandmother, Valeria Rauleson. 

Memorial services will be held 11:00 AM, Tuesday, August 8, 2023 at the First Baptist Church in Junction with Pastor Steve Myers officiating.
