Christina Ragsdill

Christina B. Ragsdill, 86, of Junction, Texas passed from this life on May 19, 2017 at Hill Country Care Center in Junction.

Christina was born January 12, 1931 in Del Rio, Texas to Louis Joseph and Leota (Schrier) Bochat, a Texas pioneer family. She married Howard Ernest Ragsdill at the First Christian Church in Del Rio on December 13, 1952. Christina worked most of her life as a bookkeeper and administrative assistant. She was active in the community, involved with PTA, Cub Scouts, church, and raising Owen Scott and Christi. She was a devoted wife to Howard for nearly 65 years and committed to her family.

Christina is preceded in death by her parents; her husband; and sisters, Ora Nell Shaw and Daisy Bochat.

Those left to honor her memory include her son, Owen Scott Ragsdill and wife Jana of Seguin; daughter, Christina Carroll and husband Doug of Wesley Chapel, FL; grandchildren, Samantha Carroll of Wesley Chapel, FL and Wesley Ragsdill of Seguin; along with many other family and friends.

Funeral services will be held 10:00 AM, Tuesday, May 23, 2017 at the First United Methodist Church in Junction with Rev. Camille Bryant officiating.

Visitation will be held 5-7:00 PM, Monday at Kimble Funeral Home.

Memorials may be made to the Kimble County Historical Commission, PO Box 271, Junction, TX 76849.

Pallbearers will be Wesley Ragsdill, Doug Carroll, Teddy Holekamp, Wilson Thomas, John Thomas, and Wyn King.
