Bret Fincke

Bret L. Fincke of London, Texas passed away Sunday, June 14, 2020 at the age of 60.   Bret was born October 17, 1959 to parents, Desire Chidsey and Julius Fincke in San Antonio, Texas.  Bret grew up the eldest of three and attended Roosevelt High School.

Bret Joined the Army in 1982 and served until 1988.  He was stationed in Washington State and Fulda Germany.  After his service, Bret worked in Construction and the Railroad Industries.  Bret attended St. Phillips College in San Antonio for Radiology Technician in 2006, and earned his associates degree, which later became his career.

Bret's favorite pastimes were to take his bride on Harley Rides around the country.  He enjoyed spending time at the beach every year with his family and best friends.  He loved taking the boat to the lake, taking the kids tubing, hunting, fishing, and spending time with his family at the river.

Bret met the love of his life Michelle Fincke in 1992, and they were married in 1997.  Together they have five wonderful children.

Bret was preceded in death by his father, Julius Fincke.

He is survived by his mother, Desire Chidsey; his wife, Michelle Fincke; brother, Bart Fincke; sister, Julie Halverson; daughters, Leanne Johnson-Mullins, Roxanne V. Fincke, Desire C. Fincke and fiance Keith Roberts; sons, Colton A. Fincke and Clifford C. Fincke, and his five grandchildren, Paul N. Webster, Martin Lionel Mullins and Joseph S. Mullins, Blaine Roberts and Lily Roberts, and many nieces and nephews who adored him.

Together forever.

Services for Bret will be held at Kimble Funeral Home in Junction, Texas on Monday, June 29, 2020 at 11 AM.

The family would like to thank his friends and co-workers at Kimble Hospital and Methodist Specialty and Transplant Hospital in San Antonio for all of their loving care in Bret’s final days.
