Billie Louise Noguess, age 82, of Junction, Texas, passed from this life on December 6, 2020, at a Kerrville hospital.
Billie was born in Junction on July 14, 1938, to Charlie and Beulah (Lackey) Fox. She grew up in Kimble County except for the WWII years, when she lived in San Antonio while her parents worked on airplanes.
Billie graduated from Sul Ross University and a piece of her heart always remained there. As a school teacher and librarian, she lived in many small towns across Texas, but coming back to Junction as the school librarian was the highlight of her career.
Billie loved books, her cats, researching family genealogy, plants, but most of all her family. Cousins, children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren held an extra special place in her heart. If Billie talked to you for more than ten minutes she found a family connection to you. She wrote a book that she was very proud of and the title honored her three husbands, "A Jock, A Jaques And A Jockey."
Billie wanted to leave the world a better place than she found it and through education she did her best to reach that goal. If you strive to learn something new each day then her life will be honored!
Those left to cherish Billie’s memory include her son Mike Potts; daughter Valerie Stapp; grandchildren Lacey Lee, Phillip Stapp, Dusty Stapp, Ty Stapp, Sterling Stapp; and ten great-grandchildren.
Due to current circumstances, memorial services will be announced at a later date. Please sign the guestbook available at Kimble Funeral Home.
Arrangements are under the direction and personal care of the professionals at Kimble Funeral Home.
