Bethany Randle Martin, 58, passed from this life on March 24, 2016. She was born December 21, 1957, in Fredericksburg, Texas to Charles Ernest and Darlene Chandler Randle.
At the time of her death, Bethany worked as the office manager at the South Llano River State Park. Prior employment included the Junction Senior Center, Junction Home Center and Kimble County MHMR. She also served the community on boards, such as the Junction ISD School Board.
The home Bethany built on Cedar Creek in 1995 was the gathering place for many family events. Family and friends were the light of her life. Bethany always welcomed those she loved into the comfort and warmth of her home, but what made her happiest were her children, her grandsons and the beach. The combination of all those things was, for her, perfection, and the Randle family created many priceless and cherished memories every year at Padre Island.
When grandsons Rhett Rowan and Ryker Randle came into her life, Bethany dedicated herself to being the best "Nana B" ever. The pride she took in those boys and in her own children, Randle Rowan and Kara LeAnne, could not be measured.
Bethany loved living on Cedar Creek and her life there was one of creativity, infused with her love of nature and homemaking. She was an avid birdwatcher, and enjoyed collecting flint and rocks and then tumbling and polishing them. An accomplished seamstress and a book lover, she kept both her hands and mind active and engaged every day.
Bethany accepted Jesus Christ as her Savior early in her life and was a member of the College Street Church of Christ.
Bethany is survived by her parents, Charley and Darlene Randle; son Randle and wife Judith, grandsons Rhett and Ryker; daughter Kara; sister Lisa Howard and husband Neal, sister Brenda Trimble and husband Larry, and sister Sandra Jackson and husband Murr; as well as numerous nieces, nephews, and a large extended family, which includes a special uncle, Tommy Randle.
She was preceded in death by her grandparents Ernest and Nora Randle; and Coley and Erna Chandler.
