Berta Dominguez

Berta Torres Dominguez, 93, of Junction, passed from this life on September 3, 2020 in Austin.

Berta was born August 9, 1927 to Arturo Torres and Dolores Alvarado in Junction, Texas.  Berta and her 3 siblings were raised by a single mother during the depression.  She worked for a local doctor during WWII.  She married the love of her life, Jose "Joe" Ramon Dominguez, on May 2, 1952.  She dedicated her life to serving her family, her church, and community.  Berta had great faith and a belief in Christ that never waned; she planted seeds that will forever shine.

Berta is preceded in death by her husband; brother, Bernardino Torres; and sister, Hortencia Torres Gonzalez.

Those left to honor her memory include her daughter, Susan Denise Dominguez; brother, Arturo Torres; and numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, friends, and loved ones.

Private family services will be held.

A visitation for the public will be held Tuesday, September 8, 2020 until 5:00 PM.
