Ayako F. Manges

Ayako Fukamachi Manges, 93, formerly of Roosevelt, died Feb. 15, 2023 at her residence in Cypress.

She was born June 8, 1929 in Hiroshima, Japan. She immigrated from Japan to Fort Wayne, Indiana with her husband, Ralph, in 1952. They relocated to Roosevelt in 1970. She and Ralph owned Manges Mercantile where she was an assistant in the Roosevelt Post Office.

Preceding her in death was husband, Ralph, in 1992 and daughter, Michelle, in 2003. Survivors: son, Michael Manges of Bethlehem, Georgia; and, daughter, Karen Manges Douglas and husband Mark; and granddaughter, Kate of Cypress, TX.

Graveside services are 10:30 a.m. June 10, 2023 in Cedar Hill Cemetery under the direction of Kimble Funeral Home.
