Audelia Torres

Audelia Abilez Torres, 97, of Junction, Texas passed from this life on October 9, 2022 at a care facility in Menard.

Audelia was born October 29, 1924 in Junction, TX to Andres Sauceda and Eleazar Vidaurri Abilez.  She married Herbert De Los Santos Torres, Sr. in Eldorado, Texas on October 19, 1941.  Audelia lived all of her life in Junction and was a loving homemaker for her family.  She was a longstanding member of Goodwill Baptist Church, and a member when it was a mission church in little Mexico. She helped with vacation Bible school and various other duties as the need arose. 

Audelia is preceded in death by her husband and parents; sons, Herbert A. Torres, Jr. and Victor A. Torres; sister, Amelia A. Key; and five brothers, Andre V. Abilez, Sr., Severo V. Abilez, Jesus V. Abilez, Martin V. Abilez, and Belisario (Bill) Abilez.

Those left to honor her memory include daughter, Gloria B. Torres of Arlington; son, Emilio A. Torres and wife Haydee of Junction; granddaughter, Tamara Beth Torres of Haltom; six grandsons, Victor W. Torres, Jr. and wife Audra, Craig U. Torres and wife Dolores, Lawrence U. Torres and Travis C. Torres and wife Candy all of Ft. Worth, Rocky Torres and wife Greta of Haslet and Mark G. Torres and wife Christina of Godley; fourteen great-grandchildren; and ten great-great-grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held 10:00 AM, Saturday, October 15, 2022 at the Kimble Funeral Home Chapel with Marco Munoz officiating.  Interment will follow at N.E. Junction Cemetery.

Visitation will be held 5-7:00 PM, Friday, October 14, 2022 at Kimble Funeral Home.
