Adam Castillo

Adam Elijah Castillo, 21, passed away on May 10, 2018 at a hospital in San Angelo.

Adam was born June 5, 1996 in Kerrville, Texas. He was a graduate of Junction High School class of 2015. Adam enjoyed Marvel and DC movies, drawing, and playing video games. He was a night owl, and was his very own Wikipedia of strange facts and languages. Adam was very talkative, had a great sense of humor, and was often a goof-ball around his siblings. He had an everlasting friendship with his cousin, Julian, and a very special bond with his brother, Michael. Adam was shy but very caring; he will be greatly missed by all who loved him.

Adam is preceded in death by a brother, Ruben Gonzales, Jr.; and uncles, Adam Castillo, Daniel Barrera, and Damien Telles.

Those left to cherish his memory include his parents, Ruben and Patricia Gonzales; sisters, Megan Castillo, Samantha Gonzales and Elaine Leonard; brother, Michael Gonzales; grandmother, Berta Vera; uncles, Albert Castillo and wife Karen, and Johnny Barrera; aunt, Monica Barrera; and numerous cousins.

Funeral services will be held 11:00 AM, Monday, May 14, 2018 at the First Baptist Church in Junction with Emma Fey officiating. Visitation will be 5-7PM, Sunday at Kimble Funeral Home.

Pallbearers will be Johnny Barrera, Albert Castillo, Larry Telles, Ruben Gonzales, III, Eric Salinas Jr., Peter James Gonzales, Joe Ramon, and Louis Gonzales Jr.

Honorary Pallbearers will be Michael Gonzales, Julian Barrera, and Tim Cotton.

Arrangements are under the direction and personal care of the professionals at Kimble Funeral Home. (325) 446-3076
